Spin fires employees just before Christmas

Spin has refined its business model in the San Diego area, and have decided to terminate scooter chargers as employees before the end of year and start of 2020. The hope is to refine its operations to become profitable and reduce costs of running a scooter rental company.

Charging scooters as an employee

What is it really like working for Spin as an employee charging scooters:

How long will scooter rental companies last?

#bird #lime #uber scooter companies that sell scooters to the rental companies such as bird and lime are the only winners in the battle for micro mobility waging across the country right now. I just can't see how there will be some miraculous way to turn a profit as a rental company if scooters keep getting stolen and damaged and have high maintenance cost for charging with low ridership and low revenues.

Life happens and motivation fades

This video is an explanation for why it’s been such a long time between my last video in this video. Essentially life happens and motivation fades is how I can summarize why I have been so delayed between videos. I’m gonna work on changing that and start making content again and getting back into the side hustle work. Thank you for your patience and for those who still follow my content

When it sounds too good to be true… It is but also isn’t.

When it sounds too good to be true… It is but also isn’t.

Making money as a scooter charger is and was a real way to make good money for fairly simple work. In the beginning you could make several hundred dollars daily, now you could make maybe a hundred dollars in a day by working a lot longer per day. So yes it was really good money working as a scooter charger, and then it changed when the business model (for Spin, Bird, Lime) adjusted to become actually profitable. Companies like Bird don’t care about the people who work for them, what matters is finding a way to become a profitable business.
