Are you trapped in the rat race? How to break free...

Timing is everything in the world of charging scooters as your main source of income. You can troll the app throughout the day, although the most effective time to go looking hits right before 9:00am every night. You can find a few before 9, and right after 9 all available hit the map ripe for the picking. Competition is heavy nowadays, you will be competing hard with dozens of chargers on the prowl all seeking out ready BIRDS and LIMES. Maxing out is less and less likely as the night moves on. By the time midnight hits there is nearly none available to pick up, unless you are willing to travel up to fifteen minutes to snag one. Luck has to be on your side when it's late in the game past midnight, sometimes you will have the goddess of luck strike and you can find a few between 12-3am and you then become at risk of not having it fully charged in time for the 7am drop off requirement.

If you plan on making charging scooters your primary gig, then start between 2-5pm to snag a half dozen or so to give you a nice head start in maxing out. Maxing out involves getting 12 limes and 20 birds which will equal a minimum earning of $184 per day. Maxing out will likely consume 6-8 hours of work daily when factoring drop off time which can be pretty fast if you're lucky enough to live in the zones where hubs and nests are located.

If you happen to be a hustler than squeezing in Lyft or Uber rides in your downtime can increase daily income by $80-120, but working 12 hour days is not for the faint of heart. Working 12 hour days six days a week can yield you incredible income as high as $8,000 monthly. Most will not attain such incredible gross earnings because it takes strength that pushes you to work hard everyday. People with goals and rock solid plans can hustle their way to six figures annually. Smart people will also factor heavy taxation into the monthly budget by putting aside 30% monthly to be ready when tax time hits. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND being ready for tax time and have that hard cash set aside for that time.

This work charging scooters for Bird and Lime in combination with driving for Lyft or Uber can make you a wealthy person. Wealth can then grow on its own if you make wise investments. Investments in yourself through self growth and learning about passive income sources will make your wealth sustainable. Making a high monthly income is simply selling your time for money, it is fixed and has an end date - if you keep selling your time for money you will never stop working. Retirement and living your life will never be attained unless you transition some of your focus upon ways to grow your money. Buying time is the ultimate way to make a wealthy enjoyable life.

DON'T GET TRAPPED in the 'rat-race' of always working and never living. The rat-race is when you work, work, work and then spend all that you make. Wealth should always be the end goal, sustainable renewable income sources through investments is what makes someone wealthy. Working and hustling to make high daily/weekly/monthly income is only the beginning on the journey to becoming a wealthy person.

More on this topic is on its way in the coming weeks.

Sometimes the simplest solution will fix the problem

The simple solution sometimes ends up being the overlooked solution. When faced with problems it always helps to take a step back and think through the issue. Recently my truck has had starting issues, where when starting it wouldn't work, and the problem appeared to be the engines starter. Because it appeared to be the starter, I removed it and brought it to a auto parts store to get it tested. Testing the starter was easy and it came back without a problem, the started worked fine. I reinstalled the working part in my truck and then pulled the starter relay and bought a new part and installed it. The issue wasn't resolved. Looking back through the engine area under the hood, I discovered the real root of the problem which happened to be the connection to the battery. The positive connection was loose, loose to the point where it was causing the engine to not start properly or not start at all. I tightened the connection for both positive and negative cables and boom the issue was resolved.

Overlooking the simple solution is always a frustrating situation, but it does indeed happen. The problem that seemed large was in fact simple and easy to fix. In life we encounter major issues that aren't so major, we focus on the specifics and ignore possible solutions because our focus is so narrowly fixed on one thing. Taking a step back and thinking through what is going on we can see what is actually happening.

LimeBike is now backed by Google Ventures

The revolution of dockless bikes and electric scooter travel has been boosted, LimeBike is now backed by Google Ventures. With an influx of 335 Million dollars LimeBike will be growing it's market share in the transportation industry faster than ever. Uber has jumped on the bandwagon of scooter rentals with partnership to allow in app rentals in the near future. Transportation options for people has grown larger than ever with Uber, Lyft, BIRD, Lime, Ofo, Mobike, Spin, and all other app connected rideshare options - nowadays owning a car has become near obsolete. Depending on your lifestyle and work type you don't really actually need to own a vehicle. Getting from A to B has become simple and affordable, if you live and work with an urban area you can seriously just get rid of your car and possibly save money from utilizing the many different rideshare options available.

Lime formerly LimeBike has gained traction in multiple major cities within the United States, and is expanding globally with it's arrival in France. It is a growing force changing the way people think about how to get around town. The future for travel looks brighter with local cities approving the dockless bikes and rental scooters, in the early stages it is going to be difficult because it is new and somewhat experimental. Cities have banned the scooters until regulations can be designed, approved, and adopted - in San Francisco, CA and Denver, CO, as well as many other markets. When great minds get together to solve problems solutions will rise above, the issue of sidewalks being blocked and people driving scooters without helmets will be resolved at some point.

The future of transportation is bright and full of innovations, one day owning a car will seem silly and that is encouraging for the next generations of humans - when the way we travel leaves a smaller impact on our environment through use of electric vehicles, electric scooters, and bicycles we give earth a better chance at survival.
