In San Diego California and many other cities within the United States BIRD and LimeBike offer last mile transportation in the form of rental scooters that you can find, activate, and leave essentially anywhere... On several days I have earned $150-$220 for charging between 22-30 scooters / within 5-7 hours of work to earn that money. This is a solid way to earn good money for minimal work.
When I had first signed up to do scooter charging I was making between $50-80 per day, as I was getting the hang of things doing this work. After getting more charge cables and starting to use a truck for the work my daily revenue for working both scooter companies I have been earning over $100 daily with lots of days bringing in $140-$220. Luck in finding more valuable scooters definitely boosts the daily income.
Start early in the day to swoop up a few somewhat difficult to find BIRDs, then early evening start getting low battery Limes, as 8pm/9pm/10pm comes around start aggressively searching for the available scooters with a goal to snag at least 10, take them home to start charging, if able then go back out to get more, and when you have a solid batch of scooters just watch the charge levels and rotate around when they start to become fully charged.
Start early in dropping them off at Nests and Hubs, as early as 4am to insure that you will find close locations to drop off fully charged scooters.
Watch out for scooters that are listed with old location data, ones that say last location beyond yesterday are almost always NO LONGER ON THE MAP and become a waste of your time, avoid those like the plague. Stick with ones that had been rented recently as confirmation that they actually are where the map shows it to be.
